Sitting in the Sun (Poem)

Sitting in the Sun

Sunlight pouring down over my skin
warmth soaks me.
 Drenching me like a wave
It delights me.
Bare feet tiptoeing on grass
grass between my toes
soft and thin blades like cats' whiskers
Tickles my toes.
A book beside me I rest my head.
I close my eyes
The warmth Feels Warmer with eyelids closed
Orange haze on my eyes.
